Cyprus Health Tourism Council published a message on the occasion of May 19 Youth and Sports Day.
In the message, the heroes of the War of Independence, martyrs and veterans, especially Atatürk and his comrades-in-arms, were commemorated with “respect and heartfelt debt”.
The message of Ahmet Savaşan, President of the Cyprus Health Tourism Council is as follows:
“The Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk dedicated the date of May 19, 1919, which is of great importance in terms of being the beginning of the national struggle and which enabled our nation to take the first step towards independence, to the Turkish youth as a sign of his faith and love.
On the anniversary of the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's landing in Samsun, we once again celebrate the May 19 Commemoration of Atatürk and the Youth and Sports Day, and commemorate the heroes of the War of Independence, especially Atatürk and his comrades-in-arms, our martyrs and veterans with respect and heartfelt debt.”
