\nAt the international meeting organized in TRNC, health tourism opportunities in the country were introduced to 100 participants from 25 countries. Minister of Tourism and Environment Fikri Atao\u011flu also attended the event.<\/p>\n

According to the statement of the Ministry of Tourism and Environment, Emin \u00c7akmak, Founding President of the World Health Tourism Council, speaking at the event at Elexus Hotel, said that 11 organizations in the TRNC were integrated into Map2heal and that Northern Cyprus could receive health tourists from 90 countries.<\/div>\n
\u00c7akmak stated that in the international session held with the organization of the Turkish Health Tourism Development Council, nearly 100 doctors and purchasing delegations from 25 countries were effectively introduced to the Health Tourism opportunities of Northern Cyprus in the field of IVF.<\/div>\n
Stating that TRNC has a great potential in terms of Health Tourism in IVF and other fields, \u00c7akmak pointed out that the support of the TRNC Government for the development of this field is very important.<\/div>\n
\u00c7akmak said, \u201cI sincerely believe that we will develop Health Tourism on the island by working together.\u201d.<\/div>\n

In his speech, Ahmet Sava\u015fan, President of the Health Tourism Council, said that Cyprus is the homeland of the embroidery that deeply influenced Leonardo da Vinci. Sava\u015fan explained that the island is home to Shakespeare's most famous works and is a distinguished island of culture and health with strong historical traces and humanitarian and touristic riches.<\/div>\n
Stating that medical devices with the latest technology and specialist physicians using up-to-date information play an important role in getting rid of diseases, Sava\u015fan pointed out that diseases can be eliminated much easier and in a short time with the addition of morale.<\/div>\n
Underlining that Northern Cyprus is a safe country, Sava\u015fan also explained that tourist patients can receive quality healthcare services both with their international insurance and privately without any waiting period.<\/div>\n
Sava\u015fan said, \u201cWith our state-of-the-art technology devices, our specialist physicians using up-to-date information, our price advantages combined with our international accreditations, we offer our tourist patients high quality healthcare services in many areas such as heart, cancer, eye, dental, aesthetic surgery, IVF in our comfortable private hospitals and clinics, especially in our university hospitals in Northern Cyprus.\u201d.<\/div>\n

In his speech, Fikri Atao\u011flu, Minister of Tourism and Environment, said that the government has taken concrete steps and implemented the necessary legal and infrastructural arrangements in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, as in many countries, especially in health, sports and cultural tourism, which have taken their unique place in the ever-developing tourism industry. Atao\u011flu said, \u201cIn parallel with the changes taking place in tourism, we are working with all our strength to optimize mass tourism revenues in our country on the one hand, and on the other hand, to develop alternative tourism types such as culture, health and sports that emphasize individual demand and wishes.\u201d.<\/div>\n

Explaining that Northern Cyprus attracts tourists from all over the world thanks to its natural, cultural, historical and touristic richness as well as quality educational opportunities, Atao\u011flu said, \u201cThanks to our IVF centers and private hospitals with much higher success rates compared to many countries of the world, we manage to receive tourist patients from more than thirty countries.\u201d.<\/div>\n
