\nSpeaking at the opening ceremony of the forum in which Turkey had an intense participation, Emin \u00c7akmak, Founding President of the Turkish Health Tourism Council THTC and the World Health Tourism Council - GHTC, stated that Turkey has grown very rapidly in health tourism and said that Turkey has become the health center of the region with its highly advanced accredited hospitals at record levels and successful doctors around the world. Stating that international collaborations have been established to serve the world health tourism and that these collaborations are gradually developing under the leadership of the World Health Tourism Council - GHTC, Emin \u00c7akmak said: \u201cJordan is one of the most important countries that Turkey has established cooperation in health tourism. Turkey has set a target of 20 billion dollars in 2050 in order to get a share from health tourism, whose potential annual income exceeds 100 billion dollars and reaches a growth rate of 5 percent every year. Together with GHTC, where we bring together world health tourism under one roof, we are all working for world health and humanity.\u201c.<\/p>\n

\nPRIME MINISTER HANI MULQI: HEALTH TOURISM CONTRIBUTES TO THE ECONOMY<\/strong>
\nJordanian Prime Minister Hani Mulqi said in his opening speech that medical tourism is not only a health sector, but a main contributor to the national economy and many other sectors. He said that the Kingdom is investing in national human resources and building a health system through cooperation between the Ministry of Health, the Royal Medical Services and university and private hospitals.
\nMulki said that despite the difficult conditions in the region in the last decade, important steps have been taken in health and Jordan has become a role model in the region.

\nPRINCESS GHAIDA: WE HAVE BECOME A MODEL OF HEALTH IN THE REGION<\/strong>
\nPrincess Ghaida Talal, President of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation, said in her speech that Jordan has become a leading health model with visionary and modern developments. She said that in order to provide patients with the best health care, it is necessary to maintain the quality of care by upgrading services. Explaining that Al Hussein Cancer Center provides services according to international standards, Princess Ghaida Talal said that as a specialized cancer treatment center for patients in Jordan and Arab countries, the facility has established the most important international collaborations in 15 years.<\/p>\n

\nMinister of Health MAHMOUD SHEYAB: APPROPRIATE TREATMENT IS BEING PROVIDED<\/strong>
\nIn his speech, Minister of Health Mahmoud Sheyab said that the health sector has gained local, regional and international fame in recent years. Sheyab pointed out that highly qualified human resources, internationally accredited hospitals and medical centers provide low-cost treatments. He added that the medical accountability legislation is in the process of being approved by the parliament.

\nFawzi Al-Hammouri, President of the Private Hospital Association and GHTC, said that medical tourism is an important economic sector. He said that medical tourism worldwide has exceeded 100 billion dollars a year, reaching a growth rate of 5 percent, and that the world is turning towards health tourism. \u2019We decided to hold this forum in Amman in order to shed light on the enormous potential of the health tourism sector, which is developing in Jordan and the world, and the quality service provided,\u201c said Fawzi Al-Hammouri, noting that Jordan has made significant investments to train qualified medical and nursing staff.
