Ahmet Ahmet, Director of Near East Tourism and Travel Enterprises, which operates under the Near East University (NEU) Combatant, The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) recently participated in the Travel Turkey International Tourism Fair and Conference at the Feshane Fair, Culture and Congress Center in Istanbul, promoting the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) to the world's major tour operators and visitors to the fair and explaining the projects to be implemented in the 2004-2005 tourism season.

Ahmet Savaşan explained that their second project is the realization of Summer School programs that will be launched in Cyprus with the participation of young people from Turkey and the TRNC for the first time and will be offered in European countries. In this context, he gave the good news that the NEU Camp Magic Summer School Project, which they plan to realize between July 4-16, 2004, will enable young people in the 12-16 age group in Turkey and the TRNC to spend part of their summer holidays at the Near East University Campus. Savaşan explained that within the scope of NEU Camp Magic Summer School, which was prepared by evaluating the educational and entertainment opportunities of Near East University and decided to be 13 days, there will be 18 hours of foreign language courses, 9 hours of computer courses, 10 hours of swimming courses, 7 hours of social and sports activities, 8 half-day trips and 1 full-day trip.

Ahmet Savaşan stated that all the students who will participate in the camp will be introduced to the historical, social and cultural beauties of the TRNC and at the end of the camp, students will gain the habits of teamwork, sharing, cooperation and self-sacrifice; he also believes that it will contribute to their socialization by strengthening their feelings of respect and love, and invited all young people aged 12-16 to a summer school that will be memorable.
