President of the Health Tourism Council Assist. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Sava\u015fan published a message on the 35th anniversary of the death of Dr. Faz\u0131l K\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck, the leader of the Turkish Cypriot freedom struggle.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ahmet Sava\u015fan stated that Dr. K\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck left his mark as the \u201cTurkish Cypriot Leader\u201d in an important period of time when the Cyprus events echoed around the world and left a mark in history, and underlined that K\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck prioritized social interests over personal interests throughout his life.<\/p>\n

K\u00dc\u00c7\u00dcK HAS AN INDELIBLE PLACE IN HEARTS...<\/strong><\/p>\n

In 1931, Dr. K\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck, who started to write columns in various newspapers and made a great effort to enlighten and organize the people with the newspaper Halk\u0131n Sesi, which he started to publish in 1943, proved that he was a good organizer as well as a physician and a man of ideas by leading the founding of many defense organizations.\u201d Sava\u015fan emphasized that Dr. Faz\u0131l K\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck was a rare hero who earned an indelible place in the hearts with his populism, determination to struggle and self-sacrifice and courageously undertook the leadership of the Turkish Cypriot People in the most critical period of its history.<\/p>\n

THE UN NEEDS TO INITIATE A RESULTS-ORIENTED PROCESS...<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pointing out that Dr. K\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck always expressed that the Turkish Cypriot People could not exist without Turkey, Sava\u015fan stated that K\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck organized the struggle for existence, stood resolutely against ENOSIS and paved the way for the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.<\/p>\n

Underlining that the struggle of Dr. Faz\u0131l K\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck, who was a pioneering leader for the Turkish Cypriot People, should be well understood and explained to the growing generations, Ahmet Sava\u015fan underlined that in order to reach a fair, comprehensive and sustainable solution on the island and for peace and stability to prevail in the region, the UN should see the realities and initiate a timetabled and result-oriented process.<\/p>\n
