World Vice President and Cyprus President Dr. Ahmet Sava\u015fan represented the TRNC at the World Health Tourism Forum held in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to the statement made by the Council, Dr. Ahmet Sava\u015fan participated in the World Health Tourism Forum held in Baku this year by the World Health Tourism Council, which gathers 58 countries under one roof and has the widest international representation in its field, and where Health Tourism policies are determined.<\/p>\n

The form was held under the auspices of the Presidency of Azerbaijan...<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the same statement, the forum, which took place in Baku under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the presidency of Azerbaijan with the participation of more than 40 countries, was attended by state and government officials, representatives of diplomatic missions, academics, agency and hospital managers, doctors and tourism professionals.<\/p>\n

In the panel held under the modeling of Yunus G\u00fcrkan, Secretary General of GHTC 1st Term, Ruslan Guliyev, Chairman of the term, Emin \u00c7akmak, Founding President, as well as Dr. Lutz Lungwitz from Germany, Dr. Bura Miljenko from Croatia, <\/strong>In the statement, it was underlined that Violetta Janyshevskaya from Ukraine and experts from countries such as Azerbaijan, Russia, China, India, Poland and Azerbaijan, which shape the World Health Tourism industry, made speeches, and it was pointed out that the delegates determined the steps to be taken in the new period by addressing issues such as global health tourism targets, legislation, accreditation, training and research, expanding the scope of health travel, branding, digital marketing and ethics.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>Third age tourism made its mark...<\/strong><\/p>\n

Stating that the forum meets every year in the country that holds the rotating presidency of the World Health Tourism Council and reviews the road map determined a year ago and produces new decisions, Dr. Ahmet Sava\u015fan said that this year the form was marked by third age tourism.<\/p>\n

In 2030, 4 out of every 7 people will be over 65<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pointing out that one out of every 7 people today is over the age of 65, and it is calculated that this ratio will be one out of every 4 people by 2030, Ahmet Sava\u015fan said, \u2019Nowadays, individuals over the age of 65 want to be more active, travel, participate in cultural and artistic activities, see new places, produce, and be social. The opportunities that Northern Cyprus can offer to late adults for both advanced active life vacations and the health services they need are both very wide and very attractive. In order for this field to develop in our country, our Council is promoting on international platforms on the one hand and carrying out projects to fulfill the legal and infrastructural requirements on the other.\u201c.<\/p>\n
