UBP Deputy Secretary General Dr. Ahmet Sava\u015fan emphasized in a television program that he attended that a forced road map was determined at the August 9th meeting.<\/strong><\/p>\n

UBP Deputy Secretary General Dr. Ahmet Sava\u015fan drew attention to the fact that President Ak\u0131nc\u0131's proposals on both political equality and hydrocarbon issues, which were agreed upon with Prime Minister Tatar and political party representatives before the August 9th leaders' meeting, were not accepted by the Greek Cypriot Leadership.
\n\u201cNothing but a forced road map came out of the August 9th meeting,\u201d Sava\u015fan said.<\/p>\n

Greeks do not want to share hydrocarbons and political equality<\/strong><\/p>\n

Stating that the Greek Cypriot Administration of Southern Cyprus continued its familiar attitude in the leaders\u201c meeting held on August 9, Sava\u015fan said, \u201dThe Greek Cypriot side is trying to create inequality in the issue of political equality. It also wants to keep the hydrocarbon issue outside the talks on the resumption of Cyprus settlement negotiations. This means that the Greek Cypriot Administration of Southern Cyprus does not want to share governance and wealth with the Turkish Cypriot people. Unless the current mentality of the Greek Cypriot leadership changes, it is far from realistic to expect the establishment of a federal partnership based on sharing in Cyprus in the near future.\".<\/p>\n

The SCGA is trying to start a process that has been exhausted.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Reminding the determined stance of UBP President Ersin Tatar, both the UBP and the government on bringing new ideas to the table, including different partnership models based on cooperation on the one hand and two states within the EU on the other hand, which are much more realistic and realizable in the current conditions of Cyprus, by maintaining the peaceful attitude of the Turkish Cypriot side, Sava\u015fan said, \u201cThe August 9th meeting did not give any signal that a result-oriented and timetabled process would be initiated. On the contrary, the Greek Cypriot Administration of Southern Cyprus (GCASC), with the support of the UN Secretary-General, tried to start a process that has not yielded results for forty years and has actually been exhausted.\u201d.<\/p>\n

With Turkey's support, the game-changing de facto mobilization will continue...<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ahmet Sava\u015fan pointed out that the government's policy on both Varosha and hydrocarbon with the full support of Turkey has broken the memorizations that have been formed until today and said, \u201cThanks to the steps taken with determination, a de facto mobility has started on the island and around the island. Thanks to this mobility created thanks to the determined and courageous stance of Prime Minister Ersin Tatar, the fact that there are two equal sovereign peoples in Cyprus will continue to be shown to the world with justified actions.\u201d.<\/p>\n

The time for doing the same things and expecting different results has passed...<\/strong><\/p>\n

Reminding that the main goal of the government established under the UBP prime ministership is to ensure the steady growth of a productive, sustainable and competitive economic structure in line with increasing the welfare level of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Ahmet Sava\u015fan said, \u201cWe are aware that the main expectation of our country's people from our government is to produce permanent solutions by taking realistic steps in health, education, agriculture, tourism and many other areas. Plus, the time for expecting different results by doing the same things has passed. I believe that the steps taken by our government with the support of the Motherland Turkey on Cyprus and Varosha issues will be continued with determination in other areas of life and our people will be able to live in a stronger state without worrying about their future and in prosperity.
