Two separate painting exhibitions consisting of a total of 47 artworks exclusively prepared by 5 artists from Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan painter Yagshymyrat Kerimov for the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts were opened by Minister of Economy and Energy Hasan Ta\u00e7oy.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to the press release issued by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations Office of Near East University, the opening of the exhibition, which took place at the Cyprus Art Center Exhibition Hall of the Atat\u00fcrk Culture and Congress Center of Near East University, was attended by Hasan Ta\u00e7oy, Minister of Economy and Energy, Dr. Suat \u0130rfan G\u00fcnsel, Founding Rector of Near East University, Ahmet Sava\u015fan, Deputy Secretary General of the National Unity Party, Vice Rectors, academic staff, artists and invited guests.<\/p>\n

At the opening of the exhibition, Near East University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Tamer \u015eanl\u0131da\u011f, Kuandyk Baimukhanov on behalf of Kazakh artists and Minister of Economy and Energy Hasan Ta\u00e7oy made a speech.<\/p>\n

The Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts will provide the opportunity to exhibit all works in the field of Antiquities and Modern Art...<\/strong><\/p>\n

Delivering the opening speech of the exhibition, Near East University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Tamer \u015eanl\u0131da\u011f said that the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts, located on the Near East University campus, will fulfill the functions of selecting, collecting, preserving and exhibiting an important selection, accumulation, conservation and exhibition that addresses the international platform and our country's own assets, considering contemporary aesthetic values and understandings.<\/p>\n

Stating that the collection of the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts will consist of works that will represent their country in the best way in the context of art history, Prof. Dr. \u015eanl\u0131da\u011f stated that hundreds of artists have participated in workshops and opened exhibitions within the scope of the project so far. Prof. Dr. \u015eanl\u0131da\u011f said, \u201cThe number of exhibitions opened on campus in the last 10 months has exceeded 100. The number of works is over 12,000.\u2019.<\/p>\n

Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Tamer \u015eanl\u0131da\u011f stated that the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts, which brings together artists from many countries, provides freedom in creativity and unites world art in this geography, has risen as the largest modern art museum in this geography, allowing the exhibition of all works in the field of ancient art and modern art.<\/p>\n

At the end of his words, Prof. Dr. \u015eanl\u0131da\u011f stated that there will be 7 museums in the Museum Zone on the Near East University Campus, and noted that the Cyprus Car Museum, Herbarium and Natural History Museum, National History Museum, Maritime Museum, Knife and Sword Museum and Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts will be presented to art lovers.<\/p>\n

Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts will gather the culture and art of the Turkic World under one roof...<\/strong><\/p>\n

Speaking on behalf of the Kazakh artists, Kuandyk Baimukhanov said, \u201cWe would like to thank the Near East University family for warmly welcoming the artists of the Turkic world who came to the land of Northern Cyprus and sharing this moment with us. We would also like to express our gratitude for the magical atmosphere and special attention you have provided for us to work efficiently. The Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts, which will host the art and culture of the Turkic world under one roof, is the first and only one in the world. It is a museum with the potential to take its place among the world museums. I wish success and energy to everyone who works and strives to realize this mission.\u201d.<\/p>\n

Minister Ta\u00e7oy: \u201cThe Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts, which will be in a position to compete with big countries in art, offers an environment of enormous wealth...\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Minister of Economy and Energy Hasan Ta\u00e7oy, in his speech at the opening of the exhibition, stated that the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts is a temple of art that can take the first place in the world and that as the government, they congratulate the founding Rector Dr. Suat \u0130rfan G\u00fcnsel for his mission.<\/p>\n

Continuing his speech by talking about the works created by artists, Minister Ta\u00e7oy stated the following:<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I sat down, there was an interesting huge painting in front of me. As I looked at this painting, I wondered whether I should immerse myself in the water or drown in the richness of nature or try to feel what an invisible touch of a small butterfly is and where it is addressed. The greatest pleasure and emotion that an artist can give to the person in front of him is to understand and see what he exhibits with real meaning and to reach the point where you can reach the peak of the pleasure you get from it. There is nothing more valuable than the power and energy of water, the butterfly and the elephant in the same painting, the power and the subtle curve of a beautiful symbol. The artist and art can make us feel all of these.\u201d<\/p>\n

Minister Ta\u00e7oy stated that a book full of writings and thoughts can come out of a painting and that there is nothing as difficult as understanding that the artist did that work by thinking at that moment. Adding that an artist tries to give something abstract, concrete, surrealist realist, Ta\u00e7oy said that in real terms, these are reflected in reality, and that the Near East University offers an environment of enormous richness with the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts, which no other country has been able to do and will compete with big countries in art.<\/p>\n

Pointing out that there are 12 thousand artworks created so far, Hasan Ta\u00e7oy added that a great treasure and a great wealth has been created, reflecting the different views, philosophical approaches and perspectives of approximately 3 thousand artists.<\/p>\n

A Great Treasure and Temple of Art that could be ranked number one in the world...<\/strong><\/p>\n

Minister of Economy and Energy Hasan Ta\u00e7oy said, \u201cThousands of people have actually visited the TRNC and the Near East University and created their own works by using their sources of inspiration with the opportunities created here. Such a thing has never been seen before, and such an event has never been experienced by any country. The weight of the work done, the interest and interest of Suat Hoca, who really feels the responsibility on his shoulders, everyone should realize what a great event has been achieved and that it has been instrumental in the creation of a work, a very great treasure and a temple capable of ranking first in the world.\u201d.<\/p>\n

Expressing their pleasure and satisfaction with the initiative taken on behalf of the country, Minister Ta\u00e7oy concluded by stating that they are also happy as a government and that they appreciate this initiative.<\/p>\n

Exhibition Ribbon Cut...
\nFollowing the speeches, Minister of Economy and Energy Hasan Ta\u00e7oy presented the Silver Key Honorary Award to Turkmenistan Painter Yagshymyrat Kerimov and the Certificate of Appreciation to Kazakh Artists. Afterwards, the exhibition ribbon was cut and two separate exhibitions were opened.
