THE SERIES WILL BE OF GREAT BENEFIT...<\/strong><\/p>\n

Stating that the Turkish Cypriot People, who want justice both in terms of governance and especially in terms of sharing the riches in the Eastern Mediterranean, do not want to suffer the difficulties they suffered in the past again.\u00a0Ahmet <\/span>Warring<\/span>, \u201cThe Turkish Cypriot people have achieved the gains they have achieved today by resisting with their rightists and leftists. Although the series has some shortcomings and mistakes, what harm can there be in telling our brothers and sisters in Turkey about us, what we have suffered, our culture and the struggle. In summary, this series is an extremely important promotional move in terms of showing the resistance of the Turkish Cypriot people, their determination to protect their existence and how they resisted until the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. In addition, this series will not only remind historical facts, but will also contribute greatly to the start of new collaborations or the development of existing relations in areas such as higher education, tourism and trade. Therefore, this step will create a great opportunity that will lead to extremely important and positive results. NEGOTIATIONS MUST TAKE HISTORICAL FACTS INTO ACCOUNT...<\/strong><\/p>\n

Noting that it is obvious that the series \u201cOnce Upon a Time in Cyprus\u201d broadcast by TRT brings historical facts to the agenda, UBP FMC Member\u00a0Ahmet <\/span>Warring<\/span>, pointed out that it will be vital to keep historical facts in mind in the negotiations to be held if the Greek Cypriot side is to sit at the table again, and said the following: \u201cThe fact that the struggle of the Turkish Cypriot People was reminded with the broadcasting of the series before the 5-party summit has created an important awareness that a sustainable agreement can only be made on the island within the framework of equal sovereignty. If we embark on this path without forgetting the realities, we can ensure that the old pains are not experienced again. If we forget these facts and pursue an agreement or \u2019peace\u201c as some circles call it, it will not be possible to reach a sustainable agreement on the island.
