Sava\u015fan underlined that the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus is the result and crown of the struggle that started in the 1950s and continued with great determination after the 1963 attacks.<\/p>\n

Underlining that the political discussions that are still taking place on the 38th anniversary of the establishment of our Republic should be evaluated within the historical process, Ahmet Sava\u015fan said, \u2019Greek Cypriots have never ruled the Turkish Cypriot People. To make such a demand for the future would be a great audacity and overstepping of bounds. Today, if there is a Cyprus problem on the island, this is because of the Greek Cypriots.
