The President of the Cyprus Health Tourism Council, UBP MP Ahmet Sava\u015fan said, \u201cThe health system needs to be renewed in a way to improve the rights of healthcare professionals and patients.\u201d.<\/h2>\n

Cyprus Health Tourism Council President, UBP MP Dr. Ahmet Sava\u015fan<\/span> In a television program he attended, he pointed out that there is a great need for the General Health Insurance and the Patient Rights Law to be passed in the country, as well as the workplace medicine regulation.<\/p>\n

Pointing out that the words of Suleiman the Magnificent, \u201cThere is no object in the world like the state, no state in the world like a breath of health\u201d, best expresses the \u201cvalue\u201d of health Ahmet Sava\u015fan<\/span>, emphasized that health workers are the most important component of protecting this \u201cvalue\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cTHE HEALTH SYSTEM HAS HAD CHRONIC PROBLEMS FOR YEARS...\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Stating that the most important responsibility for the uninterrupted, effective and high quality delivery of health services to the people of the country falls on the state, and the duty falls on physicians and healthcare professionals Ahmet Sava\u015fan<\/span>, Underlining that the people of the country, physicians and health workers have been experiencing great problems due to the chronic problems of the health system for years, he said: \u201cThere is still a lot of work to be done for our people to be able to choose hospitals and physicians and to receive uninterrupted quality health care.\u201d.<\/p>\n

Sava\u015fan emphasized that the health system needs to be renewed and that this renewal should be done in order to protect and improve the rights of both health workers and patients. Sava\u015fan underlined that this should be at the top of our social duties.<\/p>\n

\u201cOUR PEOPLE WANT A STATE THAT FULFILLS ITS RESPONSIBILITIES...\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Underlining that the passage of the General Health Insurance and the Patient Rights Law and the workplace physician regulation should not be delayed any further Ahmet Sava\u015fan<\/span>, \u201cOur people want to see a state that fulfills its responsibilities, as well as well-educated physicians and health workers who produce services under the best working conditions, are satisfied with the services they produce, respect their patients and look to the future with hope,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cOUR HEALTH WORKERS ADDED BREATH TO BREATH AND LIFE TO LIVES DURING THE PANDEMIC...\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

On March 14th Medical Day, which we celebrate in the shadow of Covid-19, remembering that the greatest heroes of the fight against the pandemic are all healthcare professionals, especially physicians and nurses, and noting that it should not be forgotten that thanks to the superhuman efforts of our healthcare professionals in this struggle, hope is added to hope, breath to breath and life to life Ahmet Sava\u015fan<\/span>, \u201cWe would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all our physicians, nurses and healthcare workers for their extraordinary perseverance during the pandemic period, putting their own lives at risk.\u201d.<\/p>\n
