According to the information given by the Assembly of the Republic, Major General Zorlu Topalo\u011flu, speaking at the reception at the Assembly Hall of Honor, noted that August 1 is a very important and exceptional day for the Turkish Cypriot history.<\/p>\n

Touching on the importance of the conquest of Cyprus in his speech, Topalo\u011flu said that martyrs were given to protect the Turkish presence on the island before and after the establishment of the Turkish Resistance Organization.<\/p>\n

Reminding that the TMT was replaced by the Security Forces Command after the July 20 Happy Peace Operation, Topalo\u011flu emphasized that the Security Forces have continued to ensure peace and security in the entire region from Derinya to Karpaz, from Karpaz to Erenk\u00f6y and throughout the entire country since then.<\/p>\n

Topalo\u011flu pointed out that the Security Forces Command is ready to pay all prices for the people to continue their freedom.<\/p>\n
