The Administrative, Public and Health Affairs Committee of the Republican Assembly convened today under the chairmanship of UBP MP and Committee Chairman \u00d6zdemir Berova. The Committee discussed two draft laws.<\/h2>\n

The Administrative, Public and Health Affairs Committee of the Republican Assembly discussed the \u201cCosmetic Products (Amendment) Draft Law\u201d and the \u201cDepartment of Inpatient Treatment Institutions (Establishment, Duties and Working Principles) (Amendment) Draft Law\u201d on its agenda today.<\/p>\n

\u00d6zdemir Berova<\/span> committee meeting convened under the chairmanship of the Deputy Chairman of the Committee, CTP MP Filiz Besim<\/span>, committee members UBP MP Ahmet Sava\u015fan<\/span>, CTP MP Devrim Bar\u00e7\u0131n<\/span> and UBP MP Emrah Yesilirmak<\/span> participated. Also at the committee meeting, CTP MP Ceyhun B<\/span><\/a>i<\/span>rst<\/span><\/a> and HP MP Jale Refik Rogers<\/span> also took part.<\/p>\n

GENERAL DISCUSSION OF THE INPATIENT TREATMENT INSTITUTIONS DEPARTMENT (AMENDMENT) BILL COMPLETED<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Committee first completed the general discussion of the Inpatient Treatment Institutions Department (Establishment, Duties and Working Principles) (Amendment) Draft Law and started to discuss it article by article. The Committee will continue its work on the draft law at the next meeting.<\/p>\n

Officials from the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Finance, the Personnel Department, the Turkish Cypriot Medical Association, Medical-Is, KTAMS and Kamu-Sen attended the committee meeting as invitees and made opinions and suggestions on the issue.<\/p>\n

The general justification of the Inpatient Treatment Institutions Department (Establishment, Duties and Working Principles) (Amendment) Draft Law is as follows:<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Department of Inpatient Treatment Institutions (Establishment, Duties and Working Principles) (Amendment) Draft Law has been prepared in order to ensure that the people serving in the field of health can provide better service in the health sector, which is developing with today's conditions, to regulate the existing staff and positions in order to adapt to the developing health sector, to make legal and administrative arrangements regarding all these issues and to provide a better health service to the citizens.\u201d<\/p>\n

COSMETIC PRODUCTS (AMENDMENT) BILL APPROVED BY MAJORITY VOTE<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Committee then approved the Cosmetic Products (Amendment) Bill with a majority of votes and submitted it to the agenda of the General Assembly.<\/p>\n

Officials from the Ministry of Health attended the Committee meeting as invited guests and made comments and suggestions on the issue.<\/p>\n

The general justification of the Cosmetic Products (Amendment) Bill is as follows:<\/p>\n

\u201cThis Draft Law has been prepared with the aim of regulating the personnel required in the permit applications of manufacturers and importers who will obtain permits in accordance with the Cosmetic Products Law and who are obliged to employ by law.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
