The reception, which took place at the Grand Palace in London, was attended by Turkish Cypriot business people living in the UK, representatives of non-governmental organizations and guests.<\/p>\n

President Ersin Tatar<\/span>, He chatted with business people living in the UK, listened to their expectations from the TRNC state and called for unity and solidarity with his compatriots here.<\/p>\n

KTTO President Turgay Deniz<\/span> In his opening speech at the reception, he expressed that this was the second time in a year that they had come together and thanked everyone for their participation.<\/p>\n

Deniz noted that they opened an office in London in order to improve and strengthen the relations between the UK and the TRNC and said that they would be able to work more effectively.<\/p>\n

Stating that they want to prepare the ground for joint investments as well as investment opportunities and developments in the TRNC for business people in the UK, Deniz said that they know that these are not easy, but investment requires labor.<\/p>\n

Stating that there is a need for work and determination, Deniz noted that support and suggestions are needed for maturation activities and lobbying, and that exchanges of ideas are necessary for the development of mutual trade and intensification of investments. Deniz stated that they will continue to work in this direction.<\/p>\n

Emphasizing that they are proud of the achievements of Turkish Cypriot business people in London, Tatar noted that he also saw young people among them tonight and said, \u201cYour acting together will add strength to our strength\u201d.<\/p>\n

Stating that the Turkish Cypriot people exist and will exist everywhere, Tatar noted that there is a great breakthrough in the TRNC, foreign investments and domestic investments are increasing day by day.<\/p>\n

\u201cMORE TOURISTS WITH THE NEW AIRPORT\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Stating that they expect a tremendous increase in the number of tourists with the completion of the new airport, Tatar said, \u201cTRNC will become a brand destination. Attracting more tourists from the UK to the TRNC is a contribution to the country.\u201d.<\/p>\n

Pointing out that production will increase with the use of water brought from Turkey for agricultural production, Tatar noted that he was happy to see local products on the shelves in the UK.<\/p>\n

Stating that domestic products come to this market despite the problems in the trade regulations, Tatar said that they have contacts with the UK government and are working to overcome the problems.<\/p>\n

Stating that the UK should not do more injustice to the Turkish Cypriot people, Tatar emphasized that they will increase the dose of contacts for the UK to reconsider its policy on Cyprus and to give up the injustices and embargoes imposed on the Turkish Cypriot people.<\/p>\n

Stating that a people who succeeded despite the embargoes will never give up the struggle, Tatar said, \u201cNever give up hope in the TRNC, we are all working together for the TRNC to succeed. We will create a much stronger TRNC.\u201d.<\/p>\n

Tatar called on Turkish Cypriots living abroad and especially in the UK to leave politics aside and call for unity, \u201cStrength comes from unity. The important thing is the unity of the Turkish Cypriot People\u201d.<\/p>\n

President Tatar stated that this unity is important in terms of attracting the attention of the world, emphasized the importance of lobbying activities, and said, \u201cWe will tell the whole of England about our just cause without giving up.\u201d.<\/p>\n

Stating that the unity of Turkish Cypriot associations will add strength to their just cause, Tatar said that the Turkish Cypriot people are as sovereign and equal founding partners as the Greeks.<\/p>\n

Stating that keeping the TRNC alive and strengthening it will play an important role in any future agreement, Tatar emphasized that they will continue to work for the welfare and happiness of the people as well as the economy of the TRNC.<\/p>\n

Tatar, who demanded unity from the Turkish Cypriot community in the UK, said that it is of great importance that brand products come out of the country, tourists and investors come from the UK, as well as young people protecting the TRNC.<\/p>\n
