\u00c7i\u011fdem Erdo\u011fan Atabek, Deputy Chairman of the Turkey - TRNC Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group, hosted a dinner in honor of the delegation of the Administrative, Public and Health Affairs Committee of the Assembly of the Republic of Turkey, which is in Ankara.<\/p>\n

The dinner, which took place at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM), was attended by the Chairman of the Committee, UBP MP \u00d6zdemir Berova<\/span>, Deputy Chairman of the Committee, CTP MP Filiz Besim<\/span>, UBP MP Emrah Yesilirmak<\/span>, CTP MP Devrim Bar\u00e7\u0131n<\/span>, UBP MP Ahmet Sava\u015fan<\/span>, CTP MP Erkut \u015eahali<\/span>\u2019In addition to the TRNC Ambassador to Ankara \u0130smet Koruko\u011flu, Secretary General of the Assembly of the Republic Seral F\u0131rat and Director of Laws, Decisions and Minutes Pembe \u0130nan\u00e7 Unan Ers\u00f6z attended the ceremony.<\/p>\n

In the TBMM delegation, AK Party \u0130zmir Deputy Necip Nas\u0131r, AK Party Hatay Deputy Hac\u0131 Bayram T\u00fcrko\u011flu, AK Party Manisa Deputy Tamer Akkal, CHP \u00c7orum Deputy Tufan K\u00f6se, MHP Deputy Ahmet Erbas<\/span>\u2019Mehmet Ali Kumbuzo\u011flu, Secretary General of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey.<\/p>\n

In his speech at the dinner, \u00c7i\u011fdem Erdo\u011fan Atabek, Deputy Chairman of the Turkey-TRNC Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group, expressed his pleasure to welcome Berova as the Deputy Chairman of the TRNC-Turkey Friendship Group together with his delegation at the Turkish Grand National Assembly.<\/p>\n

Stating that the Turkish Grand National Assembly will always continue its efforts for the Turkish Cypriots, Atabek said that they especially wish to develop ties with the Turkic Republics.<\/p>\n

Committee Chair \u00d6zdemir Berova<\/span> On his part, he said that he was pleased to be in Ankara and expressed his belief that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdo\u011fan's speech at the United Nations and the observer membership to the Organization of Turkic States were important developments and that new steps would be taken towards the recognition of the TRNC.<\/p>\n

Berova stated that they want to strengthen ties with Turkic states and that their aim is for the TRNC to stand on its own feet and increase its welfare level.<\/p>\n
