During the meeting, Minister Atao\u011flu was accompanied by UBP MP Ahmet Sava\u015fan<\/span>, Ambassador Beniz Uluer Kaymak, TRNC Representative in Berlin, and Mine Emiro\u011flu, Director of the Tourism Promotion and Marketing Department were also present.<\/p>\n

Minister Atao\u011flu first conveyed his condolences to Minister Ersoy due to the earthquake disaster in Turkey, and then held a meeting on tourism-related issues.<\/p>\n

Emphasizing that they have a very good cooperation with the Turkish Minister of Culture and Tourism, Mr. Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, Atao\u011flu stated that this year they shot a new promotional film with the support of Turkey and that these films were broadcast on TV channels and websites broadcasting in Russia, Germany and the UK, including Turkey.<\/p>\n

Explaining that the Turkish Tourism Promotion and Development Agency under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey also supports the promotion and marketing activities of the Northern Cyprus destination to attract more demand, Atao\u011flu said that the TRNC economy always needs the tourism sector, so they will continue to work uninterruptedly for the growth and development of this market.<\/p>\n

Explaining that a large number of agencies and tour operators from Northern Cyprus came together with agencies operating in the German and Turkish markets, Atao\u011flu stated that the tourism stakeholders of the two countries should always be together.<\/p>\n

Stating that there was a demand above the expected demand at the ITB Berlin Tourism Fair, which was organized face to face for the first time after about 3 years, Atao\u011flu wished that disasters such as pandemics and earthquakes would not happen again.<\/p>\n

ATAO\u011eLU CELEBRATED THE DAY OF WOMEN WORKING AT THE FAIR<\/strong><\/p>\n

Atao\u011flu, who is in Germany for the ITB Berlin Tourism Fair, distributed carnations to women on the occasion of March 8 International Women's Day.<\/p>\n

Atao\u011flu first celebrated the day of the women working at the TRNC stand and then visited the Turkish stand and gave carnations to the women there.<\/p>\n
