The flag of the Presidency of the World Health Tourism Council was handed over to Dr. Ahmet Sava\u015fan representing the TRNC at a ceremony held with the participation of 14 countries.<\/h2>\n

The World Health Tourism Council (GHTC) Presidency flag was presented to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus with the participation of 14 countries and the participation of 56 countries. Speaking at the ceremony, Prime Minister Unal \u00dcstel<\/span>, He stated that the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus has been cooperating with more than a hundred countries of the world in many areas of life, especially tourism, education and health, despite the fact that the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus has been kept under unjust isolation for years and wanted to sever its ties with the world, and emphasized that taking over the Presidency of the World Health Tourism Council will not only increase the international visibility of the TRNC, but will also create opportunities for the development of mutual cooperation with member countries.<\/p>\n

Noting that the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus provides high standards of health services in almost all branches in university hospitals, private hospitals and clinics, as well as in public hospitals, to more than a hundred people coming to Northern Cyprus for many purposes such as education, tourism, business and health, the Prime Minister said Unal \u00dcstel<\/span>, He said that Northern Cyprus offers unique opportunities in the fields of health protection and promotion as well as medical health tourism. Prime Minister \u00dcstel added that the government will make special efforts for the development of Health Tourism during the period when TRNC will be the President of the World Health Tourism Council.<\/p>\n

ATAOGLULU WE FULLY SUPPORT THE INCREASE IN HEALTH TOURISM INVESTMENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n

Stating that the World Health Tourism Council \u201cFlag Exchange Ceremony\u201d will have an important place in the history of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment Fikri Ataoglu<\/span> in his speech, Dr. Ahmet Sava\u015fan<\/span>\u2019s Vice Presidency at the World Health Tourism Council since 2018, he underlined that he has made significant contributions to the development of health tourism both in the TRNC and in the world. Stating that the Ministry of Tourism has been involved in the process since the first day the TRNC became a member of the World Health Tourism Council and has provided support at many stages, Atao\u011flu emphasized that under the presidency of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, the necessary support will be provided to develop cooperation between member countries and also to attract international health tourism investments to Northern Cyprus. At the end of his speech, Minister Atao\u011flu thanked Founding President Emin \u00c7akmak, who brought the member countries of the World Health Tourism Council and the TRNC together on the same platform, and Croatia, which handed over the presidency to the TRNC, as well as all delegates who came to Northern Cyprus for the flag exchange ceremony.<\/p>\n

Underlining that TRNC is a preferred country in the field of tourism and education in the world thanks to the quality services it offers to tourists from all over the world, more than three times its population, and the quality education it provides to around 100 thousand international students, Minister of Health \u0130zlem G\u00fcr\u00e7a\u011f<\/span> In his speech, Altu\u011fra emphasized that the TRNC has the necessary characteristics to develop in health tourism with its investments in health and touristic richness as well as the advantages it offers. Stating that the Council (GHTC) was established in Monaco with the participation of Turkey, United States of America, United Arab Emirates Dubai, United Kingdom, Estonia, Croatia, India, Nigeria, Panama, Poland, Senegal, Ukraine, Jordan and Greece and that the number of member countries has reached 56 today, Emin \u00c7akmak, Founding President of the World Health Tourism Council, said in his speech that the flag of the Presidency was transferred from Croatia to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus at the ceremony held with international participation. In the new period, the Presidency of the Council will be held by Dr. Ahmet Sava\u015fan<\/span>, and the TRNC Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment as the Chairman of the High Advisory Board. Fikri Ataoglu<\/span>\u2019Emin \u00c7akmak expressed their satisfaction that Minister Atao\u011flu will be in charge of health tourism and said that they will be in close contact with Minister Atao\u011flu to increase health tourism investments in Northern Cyprus.<\/p>\n

Stating that the World Health Tourism potential has reached 1 Trillion USD with 100 million traveling world citizens today, \u00c7akmak said that in order for TRNC to get its share from this potential Ahmet Sava\u015fan<\/span> with the Turkish Health Tourism Council. Stating that in this new period, special efforts will be made to increase the number of health tourists sent to the TRNC by the Turkish Health Tourism Council through its 168 representative offices in 92 countries, Emin \u00c7akmak said that in 2015 Ahmet Sava\u015fan<\/span> said that their goal when setting out with the GHTC was to make the TRNC a health base and that with the GHTC Presidency, this goal is one step closer.<\/p>\n
