UBP MP Dr. Ahmet Sava\u015fan emphasized that with the victory of UBP candidate Ali Ba\u015fman in the by-election to be held tomorrow, the number of UBP deputies in the Parliament will increase to 25 and the calls for early elections will disappear. Stating that with the strengthening of political stability in the TRNC, \u2019a new period of execution\u201c will begin, Sava\u015fan pointed out that after Ba\u015fman's victory, the repeated calls for early elections will end and the opposition will have to make evaluations based on the executions.<\/h2>\n

National Unity Party (UBP) Nicosia MP Dr. Ahmet Sava\u015fan<\/span>, made evaluations on the agenda in the television program he attended.<\/p>\n

UBP MP Dr. Ahmet Sava\u015fan<\/span>, stating that stability will be voted in this election, \u201cUBP candidate Ali Basman<\/span>\u2019is almost certain to win this election. We are facing CTP<\/span> candidate. CTP<\/span> candidate cannot put forward a coherent position. They have failed to explain what they want to do for the TRNC. Ali Basman<\/span>\u2019Since our number of deputies in the parliament will reach 25 with the election of UBP, it will not be possible to form a government without the UBP or to decide on early elections. This will give us three important years and create a more suitable ground for program-based action. The TRNC people will benefit from this election,\u2019 he said.<\/p>\n

UBP Nicosia MP Ahmet Sava\u015fan<\/span>, stating that the UBP's victory in the by-election will also affect the behavior of the opposition, \u201cAli Basman<\/span>\u2019s victory, the opposition will have to stop calling for early elections and evaluate the government's actions, whether it wants to or not. Instead of calling for early elections every day, it will have to evaluate, criticize or contribute to the UBP's actions or bills. Ali Basman<\/span>\u2019s victory will return the opposition to a real and socially useful position, CTP<\/span>\u2019s real mission,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
