UBP MP Dr. Ahmet Sava\u015fan, in his message published on the occasion of July 20 Peace and Freedom Day, emphasized that those who are trying to reach a new agreement on the Cyprus problem and those who support these efforts should take into account the realities experienced until today and said, \u201cEnding the Cyprus problem with a new agreement will only be possible by taking into account the realities created by the July 20 Peace Operation, which formed the basis for 49 years of peace.\u201d.<\/h3>\n

Cyprus Health Tourism Council President, National Unity Party (UBP) MP Dr. Ahmet Sava\u015fan<\/span>, celebrated the 49th anniversary of the July 20 Peace and Freedom Day.<\/p>\n

Emphasizing that the July 20 Peace Operation constitutes one of the most important cornerstones in the Turkish Cypriot people's struggle for existence, Dr. Dr. Ahmet Sava\u015fan<\/span>, \u201cToday, we are once again experiencing the honor and happiness of celebrating the anniversary of July 20th. Happy Peace and Freedom Day to all of us, to the heroic Turkish Cypriot people and to our Turkey and the Turkish world.\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cTHE DESIRE FOR ENOSIS IS AT THE ROOT OF ALL POLITICAL AND MILITARY CONFLICTS...\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pointing out that at the root of all political and military conflicts in Cyprus in the last century lies the Greek and Greek desire for ENOSIS Ahmet Sava\u015fan<\/span>, \u201cWhile the Greeks and Greeks saw ENOSIS as a right, they ignored the rights of the Turkish Cypriot people and caused conflicts that exhausted the possibilities of coexistence. Underlining that the Turkish Cypriot people are determined to consolidate their independence by making the best use of the opportunities provided by peace and tranquility and by continuing to make important investments, of which we are witnessing valuable examples today Ahmet Sava\u015fan<\/span>, \u201cThe strong support of the Republic of Turkey, which will be expressed once again today in the inauguration and statements to be made by the President of Turkey, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdo\u011fan, will be the most concrete indicator that we will take decisive steps towards independence. These steps, just like the Peace Operation, will increase the welfare of the Turkish Cypriot people as well as the Greek Cypriot and other peoples of the region and will help to establish peace and tranquility.\u201d.<\/p>\n
