Within the scope of April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children's Day events, the feast organized by the Women's Branches of the UBP Nicosia District Presidency in Walled City attracted great attention.<\/p>\n

UBP Nicosia District Presidency Women's Branches organized a feast in Surlari\u00e7i with the participation of hundreds of children and families from all over Nicosia as part of the April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children's Day events.<\/p>\n

Speaker of the Parliament Zorlu T\u00f6re, UBP MPs, Members of the Municipal Assembly, Members of the District Executive Board, Heads of Organizations, as well as representatives of youth and women's branches attended the festival, where creative workshops and games designed for children, face painting, musical performances, dance shows and competitions were held. Gift packages specially prepared for children were also distributed at the festival.<\/p>\n

In his speech at the event, Nicosia District President and UBP MP Dr. Ahmet Sava\u015fan pointed out that this meaningful day, which Atat\u00fcrk gifted to children, is an important opportunity to contribute to the personal and social development of children as well as the awareness of national sovereignty. Sava\u015fan said, \u201cToday, our feast area, which is overflowing with the joy of our children, who are Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atat\u00fcrk's trust to us, is once again greening our hope for the future.\u201d.<\/p>\n
