The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Republican Assembly Football Team played a football match with the Turkish Grand National Assembly team to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey and the 40th anniversary of the TRNC. The match ended in a 3-3 draw.<\/p>\n
In the match, which took place at the Nirvana Cosmopolitan Hotel field in Antalya, the Parliamentary team included Interior Minister Dursun O\u011fuz, Minister of Public Works and Transportation Erhan Ar\u0131kl\u0131, UBP MPs O\u011fuzhan Hasipo\u011flu, Hasan K\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck and Ahmet Sava\u015fan, CTP MPs Teberr\u00fcken Ulu\u00e7ay and Sami \u00d6zuslu, Alsancak-Lapta-\u00c7aml\u0131bel Mayor F\u0131rat Ataser, 9th term MP Hasan B\u00fcy\u00fcko\u011flu, Parliamentary Financial, Technical, Parliamentary Services Director, 9th term MP Presidential Advisor Mesut Gen\u00e7, 5th, 6th, 7th term MP Kadri Fellaho\u011flu, 5th, 6th term MP Mehmet Ceylanl\u0131.term MP Hasan B\u00fcy\u00fcko\u011flu, Parliamentary Financial, Technical and Parliamentary Services Director, 9th term MP Presidential Advisor Mesut Gen\u00e7, 5th, 6th, 7th term MP Kadri Fellaho\u011flu, 5th, 6th term MP Mehmet Ceylanl\u0131, former Yenibo\u011fazi\u00e7i Mayor Mustafa Zurnac\u0131lar and Parliamentary staff.<\/p>\n
According to the statement made by the Assembly, TRNC Antalya Consul General Cem Top\u00e7u also watched the match.<\/p>\n
CHAMPION ANGELS NOT FORGOTTEN\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n A ceremony was held before the match which started with a moment of silence.<\/p>\n During the ceremony, photos were taken with the flags of TRNC and Turkey, while the Republican Assembly team took place on the field with a banner reading \u201cChampions do not die...
