    According to the press release issued by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations Office of Near East University Cyprus, Near East University visited the 13th Kyrenia Olive Festival.\u00a0Ahmet Sava\u015fan<\/a>\u2018said that festivals and regional events organized all over the country have a positive impact on tourism.<\/p>\n

    Ahmet Sava\u015fan<\/a>\u00a0\u201cLocally determined and traditional festivals are symbolized by the region where they are held, refreshing the collective memory of the society and creating positive effects in terms of tourism,\u201d he said. In this context, events organized in many fields such as theater, music, food, dance, tourism, sports, caricature, art, etc. aim to add vitality to cultural life and brand the regions.     Sava\u015fan pointed out that the festivals and special days organized throughout the year are very important throughout the country and said that NEU believes in the importance of such organizations and that the university will support such events from now on as it did yesterday.
