On its first day, the Cyprus Children's Carnival welcomed over ten thousand children from all over the country.<\/p>\n

According to the press release issued by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations Office of Near East University, Cyprus, the Cyprus Children's Carnival, which welcomed over 10 thousand children from schools all over the country on its first day, postponed the 2nd day activities to May with the decision of the Organizing Committee due to the weather opposition on April 23rd.<\/p>\n

Reminding that the Carnival, which was hosted by NEU at Park Near East, was an event approved by the Ministry of National Education, Sava\u015fan said that it came to life with the contributions of the TRNC Prime Ministry, Nicosia, Kyrenia, G\u00f6nyeli, G\u00fczelyurt, Gazi Famagusta Municipalities, T\u00fcrkcell as well as many other stakeholders.<\/p>\n

Stating that the idea of children from all over the country gathering in a single area and participating in a free event was a valuable idea, Sava\u015fan thanked all the stakeholders who contributed to the carnival project, especially Swiss Communications Director Can Sarvan. Finally, Sava\u015fan wished for much more coordinated and bigger carnivals in the coming years.<\/p>\n
