In his speech, NEU Animal Hospital Chief Physician Asst. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Osman Ergene pointed out that animal health is very important in terms of animal husbandry sector and public health and said, \u201cAs NEU Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Hospital, we have the academic knowledge and both laboratories and diagnostic and treatment capabilities to control and prevent diseases and pests that pose a problem for us by controlling and eliminating them as soon as possible, ensuring animal health and welfare, combating epidemic animal diseases, controlling and preventing diseases that can be transmitted from animals to humans (anthrax, tuberculosis, brucellosis, avian influenza, crimson congo hemorrhagic fever, etc.) and ensuring food safety.We have the necessary academic knowledge, laboratories, diagnostic and treatment capabilities to control and prevent diseases that can be transmitted from animals to humans (anthrax, tuberculosis, brucellosis, bird flu, Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever, etc.) and to ensure food safety.\u201d \u201cWe are determined to continue the seminars that we will start in the coming days in Famagusta region about animal diseases and the precautions to be taken throughout the year in all parts of our country,\u201d Ergene said.<\/p>\n
