UBP General Secretary Ahmet Sava\u015fan pointed out that the UBP is in power, and therefore internal differences of opinion are an asset rather than a disadvantage, saying, \u201cEven though the CTP is not yet in power, there are serious differences and rifts within it. \u015eenkul, Bar\u00e7\u0131n, and \u015eahiner's differing behaviors are evident for all to see.\u201d.<\/h2>\n

National Unity Party<\/span><\/a>\u00a0(UBP<\/span><\/a>Secretary-General\u00a0Ahmet Sava\u015fan<\/span><\/a>, became a guest on the \u201cMorning News\u201d program, prepared and presented by Canan Onurer.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe saw that the HP issue didn't gain broad acceptance, and we took a step towards compromise.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sava\u015fan, first evaluating the cost of living bill, which was withdrawn from the General Assembly of the Republican Assembly to the committee and caused general strikes and protests, stated that they brought this bill to the agenda as part of economic measures within the framework of regional developments and the possibility of the Strait of Hormuz being closed.<\/p>\n

Sava\u015fan stated that they had made a proposal based on predictions that life would become even more expensive, but they stepped back as a sign of a culture of compromise due to public backlash. Sava\u015fan said, \u201cUnlike traditional politics, we took a step towards compromise by listening to the demands of the people. We also observed that the relevant proposal did not receive broad acceptance.\u201d Touching upon the process of withdrawing 11 laws to be discussed in committee, Sava\u015fan stated that legislative and oversight activities would return to normal starting next week.<\/p>\n

Sava\u015fan, expressing that the difference between ruling and opposition deputies stems from their areas of responsibility, said, \u201cUBP<\/span><\/a>\u00a0\u201dThe different approaches of those involved are not a disadvantage, but an asset,\" he said.<\/p>\n

UBP<\/span><\/a>\u2019Sava\u015fan, stating that there were never quorum issues, argued that the criticisms regarding the exchanges of views made in the parliamentary corridors did not reflect the truth.<\/p>\n

Sava\u015fan also stated that he did not agree with the opposition's claims that \u201cyou speak differently in private and differently in Parliament.\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn line with national goals, we have always ensured unity and solidarity, and we have not experienced quorum issues even with the most challenging laws.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Emphasizing that the government acted with a sense of responsibility, Sava\u015fan said, \u201cWe have always ensured unity and solidarity in line with national goals. We have not had problems providing quorum even in the most difficult laws.\u201d.<\/p>\n

Main opposition\u00a0Republican Turkish Party<\/span><\/a>\u00a0Sava\u015fan stated that there are serious disagreements within, giving the different stances of some parliamentarians as an example.<\/p>\n
