The Cyprus Health Tourism Council published a message on June 5, World Environment Day and emphasized that the healthy future of the Earth depends on consuming resources knowing the limits of what the planet can offer.
\nIn the statement, referring to the United Nations World Tourism Organization's declaration of 2017 as the \u2019Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development\u201c, Council President Ahmet Sava\u015fan stated that \u201dwithin the self-renewal capacity of the planet, if we follow its rules, we can create a sustainable society together and live in prosperity by redefining our current consumption culture within this society\u201c.
\nSUSTAINABILITY IS A MUST FOR TOURISM...<\/strong>

\nStating that it is calculated that in 2050, if the current production and consumption habits continue and the population of the planet reaches 9.6 billion, 3 planets will be needed to sustain our lives, Sava\u015fan said that the best strategy for a healthy future is to shape life within the limitations of the planet.
