\nMinister of Tourism and Environment Fikri Atao\u011flu and President of the Health Tourism Council Ahmet Sava\u015fan represented our country at the forum.
\nThe forum, which took place with international participation, has extremely important results for our country in terms of bringing together the actors that shape health tourism, determining the new road map of world health tourism, and the election of Fikri Atao\u011flu, Minister of Tourism and Environment, to the High Advisory Board of the World Health Tourism Council on behalf of the TRNC, and Ahmet Sava\u015fan, President of the Health Tourism Council, to the Board of Directors.
\nYesterday, the Minister of Tourism and Environment held a press conference with Ahmet Sava\u015fan and his undersecretaries at Ercan Airport and shared his Jordan contacts with the public.
\nAt the press conference, Atao\u011flu said that within the scope of the forum, they met with Jordanian Prime Minister Hani Mulqi, Princess Ghaida Talal, Princess Dina Mired, Ministers of Health and Tourism and exchanged views on the mutual development of cooperation between countries, and that he and Ahmet Sava\u015fan were elected as members of the Board of Directors and High Advisory Board of the World Health Tourism Council on behalf of the TRNC among 87 countries.
\nAtao\u011flu also said that for many years, our country has been intensively preferred from all over the world for holiday purposes for its natural, cultural, historical and touristic richness and also for education, and reminded the predictions of the United Nations World Tourism Organization and pointed out that the tourism sector will continue to grow in the next 20 years and will reach a volume of 2 trillion dollars by 2020. Atao\u011flu also mentioned that Northern Cyprus, like all countries prone to health tourism, which has taken its unique place in the tourism industry, which continues to develop despite many negativities in the world, is determined to take concrete steps, to realize the necessary legal and infrastructural arrangements and to encourage this field.
\nFrom Sava\u015fan's speech at the press conference, we learned that within the scope of the forum, they participated in the \u201cGlobalization in Health Tourism\u201d session with the participation of influential stakeholders from 42 countries, including ministry representatives, ambassadors, hospital health and accreditation organizations, insurance, airline, agency and hotel representatives, and contributed to the determination of the world health tourism roadmap by discussing issues such as global health tourism targets, legislation, accreditation, education and research, expanding the scope of health travel, marketing and branding, and ethics.

\nAfter Atao\u011flu's statements, I researched the World Health Tourism Council and learned that it is a council that has the world's widest representation in its field with 147 network offices, of which 87 countries are members. There is more; TRNC is equally represented at the World Health Tourism Council, where Dr. Layla Al Marzouqi, President of the Dubai Health Authority of the United Arab Emirates, was elected as the president, together with 18 countries, including the Greek Cypriot Administration of Southern Cyprus, where the Greek delegate is the general secretary at the table.

No one will recognize the TRNC, you cannot establish a Turkish Cypriot State, the division of the island will not be finalized. No one should expect a new state and order, none of this will happen.
\nAnd what happens? The TRNC literally becomes Taiwanized. This is exactly what I wrote. The northern part of Cyprus will be granted concessions, partially reduced embargoes, some so-called financial aid and so on. That's it, nothing else happens.
\nNor does their sense of nationalism increase.
\nBut the Greeks will continue to sleep with the Turkish army and wake up with nightmares. If the Greeks are happy with this, there is no problem. Natural gas flows from the South through the North and goes to Turkey. Water flows from the North to the South and even to Israel if necessary, enrichment will continue, but Turkish Cypriots will continue to live without an identity.
