\nIn the statement, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Turkish Minister of Culture and Tourism Numan Kurtulmu\u015f, Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevl\u00fct \u00c7avu\u015fo\u011flu, TRNC Minister of Tourism and Environment Fikri Atao\u011flu, as well as many ministers and country representatives from all over the world, as well as more than 100 thousand tourism professionals attended the fair. It was announced that Ahmet Sava\u015fan signed international agreements for tourist health with other tour operators, especially with the partners of NTL Gurbun, which sends the most tourists from Europe to Northern Cyprus. \nSpeaking at the signing ceremonies held under the chairmanship of TRNC Minister of Tourism and Environment Fikri Atao\u011flu, Dr. Ahmet Sava\u015fan underlined that the factors that affect the destination preferences of tourists in general are the natural environment, historical and cultural charm, entertainment and sports activities, sightseeing areas, culinary culture, accommodation and shopping opportunities as well as health facilities.<\/p>\n
\nStating that since the opening of NEU Hospital in 2010, they have visited many parts of the world with tourism ministers and tourism sector representatives to promote the opportunities of Northern Cyprus, Dr. Ahmet Sava\u015fan emphasized that Northern Cyprus is preferred by more and more qualified tourists every year with the contribution of international health services added to the touristic and humanitarian values of the country. We will continue to work together with our ministry and our sector and provide high standard health services to tourists coming to our country if they need them. Our common goal is to grow the TRNC economy with the contribution of tourism and create added value for our country.\u201d.<\/p>\n
\nUnderlining that Northern Cyprus tourism continues to develop with confident steps thanks to the incentives provided with the support of the Ministry of Tourism and Environment and the Republic of Turkey, the significant risks taken by tour operators and the international standard health services combined with these, Minister of Tourism and Environment Fikri Atao\u011flu stated in his speech that they are determined to support this field in order to develop the country's tourism and strengthen the economy. Thanking all tour operators who send tourists to Northern Cyprus, Atao\u011flu underlined that the efforts are continuing to develop new alternatives in addition to the existing tourism types in the country and to expand tourism to the whole year.<\/p>\n
\nIn their speeches, the managers of the tour operators stated that Northern Cyprus is one of the most beautiful touristic destinations in the world and that the incentives provided as well as the international standards offered by university hospitals and private health institutions in terms of tourist health have increased the attractiveness of the country and thus more tourists prefer Northern Cyprus.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
