create an alternative to the World Health Tourism Council (GHTC), of which Mr. G\u00fclen, 's Vice President, is also a member.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Politis Newspaper, with the headline \u201cThe election of a Turkish Cypriot to the position of vice-president of the World Health Tourism Council has caused a headache on the Greek side\u201d, reported that EDEK MP Kostis Evstathiou, in his speech in the parliament, asked how the Greek Cypriot representatives allowed the illegal election of a Turkish Cypriot to the vice-presidency without any objection.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The newspaper, which wrote that the Ministry of Energy and Tourism responded to the EDEK MP's question, revealed that the Greek government's research revealed that Turkey has an important and strong lobby on the council and that the Greek members accept it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In the news published by Politis Newspaper with the headlines \u201cThe election of a Turkish Cypriot to the position of vice-president of the World Health Tourism Council caused a headache on the Greek side\u201d and Alithia Newspaper with the headlines \u201cTurkey does what it wants in GHTC (World Health Tourism Council)\u201d, EDEK MP Kostis Evstathiu asked in his speech in the parliament how a Turkish Cypriot was allowed to be illegally elected as Vice President without any objection from Greek representatives.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kibrispostasi.com\/upload\/news\/ic.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The newspapers, which also wrote that the Ministry of Energy and Tourism responded to the EDEK MP's question, revealed that the Greek Government's research revealed that the Greek members accepted that Turkey has an important and strong lobby on the council and that the founding president of the council was Emin \u00c7akmak from Turkey.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kibrispostasi.com\/upload\/news\/kupur.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The newspapers claiming that the problem in question emerged in April 2018 when the representative of the \u201cpseudo-state\u201d was elected as vice-president at the GHTC general assembly held in Antalya, Turkey, wrote that the so-called Cyprus government launched an investigation into the issue and that the secretary of the health services organization, Hristos Betsithis, conducted this investigation on behalf of the government.<\/p>\n<p>The newspaper wrote that as a result of the research, it was revealed that Turkey has an important and strong lobby on the World Health Tourism Council (GHTC), which was established in Monaco in 2013 and whose founder and honorary chairman is Emin \u00c7akmak from Turkey, and also stated that the Cyprus Medical Tourism Council (GCMS) was accepted as a member with the pressure of the Greek organization ELITOUR (Greek Medical Tourism Council) at the second annual congress of the GHTC in Dubai.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kibrispostasi.com\/upload\/news\/kupur_2.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The newspapers also revealed in the research report that while the process was taking place, the fake state was included among the members under the name of \u201cNorth Cyprus\u201d, and that objections were made to the then president of the council, Dr. Fawzi Al-Hamouri, regarding the membership of the fake state, and although Hamouri said that the issue would be examined and evaluated in the upper board, no initiative was taken.<\/p>\n<p>After EDEK MP Kostis Evstathiou asked a question about the election of the representative of the \u201cfake state\u201d as Vice-President without any objection from the Greek representative at the GHTC congress, Nikolas Kouvela, representative of ELITOUR (Greek Medical Tourism Council), who attended the meeting in Antalya, was contacted, the newspapers said, adding that he also admitted that Turkey has an intense lobby and strong influence on the GHTC.<\/p>\n<p>Nikolas Kouvela also said that Greece has taken the initiative to contact representatives of all Balkan countries and other countries with legal status to establish an alternative to
