Ahmet Savaşan
Ahmet Savaşan, originally from Paphos, was born in Nicosia in 1977. He completed his undergraduate, graduate and doctorate education at Near East University. Continuing his academic career as an associate professor, Savaşan organized more than a hundred congresses and received various awards. He took an active role in social responsibility projects and worked as a senior manager for twenty years. He served as the Chief Advisor to the Prime Ministry of TRNC and Coordinator of the Science Board. He served as the President of the World Health Tourism Council in 2023-2024. He is currently serving as the President of the Cyprus Health Tourism Council. Elected as UBP Nicosia MP in 2022, Savaşan serves as UBP Group Deputy Chairman. Savaşan, who has contributed to nearly a hundred legislative works, is married and has one child.
