Cyprus Health Tourism Council President Dr. Ahmet Savaşan On October 29th Republic Day, in the message he published on the occasion of the Republic Day, he pointed out that the proclamation of the Republic of Turkey proved to the whole world that when the Turkish Nation sees its homeland under threat, it will eliminate this threat, will not give up its independence and freedom, and will give its life for its country without hesitation, “this determination is the guarantee that the Republic of Turkey will exist free and independent forever, and at the same time it is the sign that the Turkish Cypriot People will live free and independent forever”.
Savaşan used the following expressions in his message:
The most important task for all of us is to always remember how we have come to this day and to ensure that our young people grow up as educated, capable individuals who protect their national and spiritual values in line with the principles of universal science, while maintaining the understanding of a modern, democratic and social state of law based on national independence and national sovereignty.
With these feelings and thoughts, I celebrate the new age of our motherland, the Republic of Turkey, and the Republic Day on October 29th with joy and pride, just like every Turkish Cypriot since 1923, and I express my unwavering belief that the Republic of Turkey and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus will remain forever and will walk hand in hand, and I respectfully commemorate the heroes of the struggle for independence, especially Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.
