Dr. Ahmet Savaşan, President of the Health Tourism Council, issued a message on the 91st anniversary of the day he accepted the position of Head Teacher of the National Schools; He emphasized that the services of teachers, who raise the people of our beautiful homeland with devotion by following the path of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, to the country and society through the students they contribute to the upbringing of their students will never end.

Our age has given teachers a much greater responsibility...

Atatürk's words, “The victory of our armies paved the way for your armies of education. The real victory will be won by you, the teachers. I have no doubt that you will achieve this”, Savaşan pointed out that the real victory is only possible through education and said, “The quality of the professions practiced in a country depends on the strength and quality of the teachers in that country. Especially in today's world, the competitive environment created by globalization has made the need to raise people with superior qualifications vital. This has placed a much greater responsibility on our teachers.”.

Future generations will look to the future with more confidence...

Underlining that education and training is a continuous and universal endeavor, Ahmet Savaşan said: “Teaching is a sacred profession that prepares the new generation for the future with knowledge, experience and wisdom. Teaching knowledge, shaping it and making it useful is not a job that everyone can do. In this respect, teachers form the basis of the education system. Our teachers, who guide this process as a guide, who perform the most ancient and immortal profession known in the history of mankind, are the heroes of the heart who, despite all the difficulties that come their way, do not deviate from their path, open new paths and thus build the future. For this reason, the teaching profession is not only sacred but also a profession with a heavy responsibility. Our teachers work sacrificially to prepare children, who are the guarantee of the bright future of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, for the future in the best way possible as individuals with superior qualities who are loyal to their national and spiritual values, who can solve problems by using their minds, who can realize themselves, who can form original and new ideas and think critically and creatively. As a result of these sacrifices made by our teachers, I sincerely believe that our country will reach the level of contemporary civilization and our future generations will be able to look to the future with more confidence.”.

Teachers light the way for our young generations...

I wholeheartedly congratulate the November 24 Teachers” Day of all our teachers who devote themselves to the teaching profession and enlighten the path of our young generations, who are the guarantee of our future, who have been performing this sacred duty in every corner of our country for years without getting tired and working devotedly, and all the lecturers in our universities who work for a modern world in the light of science and always aiming forward. I also remember with mercy and gratitude our precious teachers who have passed away, especially the Chief Teacher Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.".
