On December 10, World Human Rights Day, President of the Health Tourism Council Dr. Ahmet Savaşan, He drew attention to the fact that in the world, which has turned into a global village in every field, in every subject and on every scale, the observance of human rights and awareness and intervention against violations of rights have not been able to become a global sensitivity. 

DISCRIMINATORY MENTALITY DESTROYS SOCIETIES

Factors such as power relations, strategies, collaborations, and grand plans easily enable discrimination on human rights based on geography, religion, race, ethnicity, etc., sometimes leading to great destruction and cruelty, and sometimes leading to ignoring the trampling of human rights in front of the eyes of the whole world.”.

Savaşan said, “The great ambitions of great powers turn the fate of humanity, especially in some geographies, into a small issue or a detail that may not be important. This discriminatory mentality and blindness on human rights leads societies to great destruction and suffering.”.

UN RESTRICTS THE RIGHTS OF THE TURKISH CYPRIOT PEOPLE

Pointing out that the United Nations contradicts its own values with its restrictions on the Turkish Cypriot People's enjoyment of fundamental individual rights and freedoms Ahmet Savaşan, emphasized that the world and humanity need a new concept of human rights.

A CLEAR AND COMMON STANCE AGAINST RIGHTS VIOLATIONS

Pointing out that the new concept of human rights should be inclusive, non-discriminatory, and have a framework that makes a clear and common attitude and intervention functional against violations of rights not only at the level of discourse but also at the level of action, Savaşan said at the end of his message, ”I congratulate the World Human Rights Day on behalf of a world where the understanding of brotherhood is re-established again and strongly.
