The Scientific Committee has determined the scientific measures to be taken against the coronavirus outbreak.
Prime Minister Ersin Tatar’created under the instruction of Coronavirus (COVID-19) The Scientific Committee met on Friday and Saturday upon the call of the Prime Ministry. Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, evaluated the decisions taken by the government and made recommendations to the government. On Friday, March 13 and Saturday, March 14, at the Prime Ministry, the meetings were attended by eight professors, eight of them at the level of professor, eight of them at the level of doctor and assistant professor in the fields of pulmonology, molecular genetics, infectious diseases, clinical microbiology, public health, medical biology and genetics, microbiology-biotechnology, medical biochemistry, as well as the Chief Physician of the Department of Primary Health Care Services, the President of the Turkish Cypriot Medical Association, the President of the Turkish Cypriot Association of Independent Physicians, and the President of the Private Hospitals Association.
