Ahmet Dr. Savaşan, President of the Cyprus Health Tourism Council, stated that the visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to the TRNC and the messages given on the occasion of this visit are the assurance that the Turkish Cypriot people will successfully realize their historical march.

TALAT AND AKKINCI CLEARLY SHOWED THE MENTALITY OF THE RUM...

Reminding that the July 20 Peace Operation was carried out due to the desire to unite Cyprus with Greece by ignoring the Turks, Dr. Savaşan said, “Although the Greek/Greek side seems to have given up enosis, it keeps in force the project of melting the Turkish Cypriots in a federal state that will be completely under Greek Cypriot domination and thus eliminating the island. Both the Annan Plan process and the Crans Montana process have clearly demonstrated this. The emergence of these evidences, and the collaboration between Mr. Mehmet Ali Talat and Mr. Mehmet Ali Talat Mustafa Akinci’s assistance is also important to remember. In this way, the Greek Cypriot side has frustrated the determination of Talat and Akıncı to find a solution. Accordingly, it has made it obligatory for us, as the Turkish Cypriot side, to engage in new searches.”.

WE EXPECT SUPPORT FROM THE OPPOSITION...

Prof. Dr. Savaşan said, “At the current stage, President Tatar has brought the search for a ‘two-state solution’ to the agenda in full cooperation with Turkey. Since the search for a federal solution has collapsed, the opposition should support the search for a two-state solution and try to prevent the July 15th Greek coup from reaching its goal in a different way. This is what we expect from the opposition” and thanked Turkey for its support on this issue.

DISRESPECT TO TAYYIP ERDOGAN IS UNACCEPTABLE...

“It is of course unacceptable to disrespect Turkey and Turkish President Mr. Erdogan instead of thanking them.” Ahmet Waran, Stating that we owe a debt of gratitude to the Turkish Armed Forces who carried out the July 20 Peace Operation, to the politicians who made the decision of this operation, and to the Mujahideen and Mehmetçiks who were martyred and veterans during the operation, he said, “We commemorate our state elders who made this decision with respect; We wish mercy to our martyrs from Allah. May their souls rest in peace.”.
