UBP has the power to keep its promise

National Unity Party (UBP) Deputy Secretary General Ahmet Savaşan, made a statement after the reception organized for the 46th anniversary of the UBP. Making a statement on his social media account, Savaşan stated that they proudly celebrated the anniversary.

“LET'S NOT FORGET WHAT HAPPENED WHEN UBP WAS NOT IN POWER!”

Pointing out that the UBP, like every political party, has its criticisms to be made, Savaşan stated that almost all the great steps taken and works created in the country have the signature of the UBP. Savaşan said that considering what was inflicted on the people of the country when the UBP was not in power, it became clear how great a necessity the UBP was for the Turkish Cypriot people.

The UBP has the promise to give and the power to keep its promise...

We celebrated with great pride the 46th anniversary of the establishment of our party, the National Unity Party, which is a product of the Turkish Cypriot People's long years of determined struggle for existence.

It is obvious that the National Unity Party, our party, is not only a product of the Existence Struggle, but also the greatest strength of the continuation of this struggle under today's conditions and under the roof of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

Although the UBP, like every political party, has its criticisms, when it is remembered that it has signed almost all of the great steps taken in our country and almost all of the works created in our country, and when it is not in power, it becomes clear how great a necessity it is for the Turkish Cypriot People.

I am proud to see that our party members are ready to make all kinds of sacrifices to preserve the unity and solidarity of our party in order to advance the Turkish Cypriot People's Struggle for Existence on the 46th anniversary of the establishment of our party and in our congress process we are going through.

I am proud to be a member of this great and glorious family; To our General Presidents, Ministers and Deputies, Mayors and Assembly Members, PM and MYK members, District Presidents and Executive Committee members, Women and Youth Branch Presidents and Executive Committee members, Organization Presidents and Executive Committee members, especially the founders of our party, I would like to extend my deepest love and respect to our mukhtars and members, to the hardworking employees of our party and of course to the UBP members, as well as to all those who voted for the UBP by trusting us and who have been instrumental in bringing us to power and serving our country, and I wish our foundation anniversary to be beneficial to our country and our party.
