According to the results of the early general elections in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, the deputies who are entitled to enter the 50-seat Republican Assembly have been announced.

The Supreme Electoral Council (YSK) announced the names of the 50 MPs who qualified to enter the Republican Assembly from 7 different regions of the TRNC.

  • Ruling party UBP finishes ahead in early general elections in TRNC

According to the unofficial results of the elections, the National Unity Party (UBP) won 24 seats, the Republican Turkish Party (CTP) 18, the Democratic Party (DP) 3, the People's Party (HP) 3 and the Rebirth Party (YDP) 2.

In the last general election held on January 7, 2018, UBP had 21 MPs, CTP 12, HP 9, DP 3, YDP 2, while the Socialist Democracy Party had 3 MPs.

According to the announcement of the YSK, Faiz Sucuoğlu, Olgun Amcaoğlu, Ahmet Şavaşan, Hasan Taçoy, Alişan Şan, Sadık Gardiyanoğlu, Zorlu Töre from UBP, Tufan Erhürman, Sıla Usar İncirli, Doğuş Derya, Ürün Solyalı, Devrim Barçın, Filiz Besim from CTP, Kudret Özersay from HP, Hasan Tosunoğlu from DP, Talip Atalay from YDP entered the Parliament.

In Famagusta, Dursun Oğuz, Sunat Atun, Oğuzhan Hasipoğlu, Hakan Dinçyürek, Resmiye Eroğlu Canaltay and Hüseyin Çavuş from UBP, Asım Akansoy, Teberrüken Uluçay, Erkut Şahali, Şifa Çolakoğlu from CTP, Fikri Ataoğlu from DP, Ayşegül Baybars from HP and Erhan Arıklı from YDP were elected as MPs.

In Kyrenia, Kutlu Evren, İzlem Gürçağ Altuğra, Ünal Üstel, Özdemir Berova, Hasan Küçük from UBP, Ongun Talat, Fikri Toros, Fazilet Özdenefe, Ceyhun Birinci from CTP, Jale Refik Rogers from HP, Serhat Akpınar from DP were elected MPs.

Ali Pilli and Ziya Öztürkler from UBP and Armağan Candan from CTP were elected as MPs in Güzelyurt district.

In Iskele district, the MPs were Nazım Çavuşoğlu, Yasemi Öztürk, Emrah Yeşilırmak from UBP, Biray Hamzaoğulları and Fide Kürşat from CTP.

In Lefke district, Fırtına Karanfil from UBP and Salahi Şahiner from CTP entered the Assembly.
