The Administrative, Public and Health Affairs Committee of the Assembly of the Republic continued to discuss the Municipalities Amendment Bill.

At today's meeting of the Administrative, Public and Health Affairs Committee of the Assembly of the Republic, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Interior, the Union of Cyprus Turkish Cypriot Municipalities, Nicosia Turkish Municipality, Değirmenlik Municipality, Tatlısu Municipality, BES and Büro-İş presented their opinions and suggestions on the Municipalities Amendment Draft Law.

According to the statement made by the Assembly, the Administrative, Public and Health Affairs Committee of the Assembly of the Republic will meet today at 10.00 a.m. with the UBP MP Committee Chairman Özdemir Berova chaired by the President.

The Administrative, Public and Health Affairs Committee had decided to discuss the “Municipalities (Amendment) Draft Law (Y.T.No:1/1/2022)” and the “Municipalities (Amendment) Draft Law (Y.T.No:7/1/2022)” by combining them. At today's meeting, the Committee continued to discuss the articles of the relevant Draft Laws. The Committee will continue its work on the said Draft Law at its next meeting.

UBP MP Özdemir Berova The meeting of the Administrative, Public and Health Affairs Committee convened under the chairmanship of the Deputy Chairman of the Committee, CTP MP Filiz Besim, committee members UBP MP Ahmet Savaşan, CTP MP Devrim Barçın and UBP MP Emrah Yesilirmak attended. The committee meeting was also attended by CTP MP Teberrüken Uluçay, Erkut Şahali and HP MP Aysegul Baybars also participated.
