The 8th Oğuz Özyalçın Classic Car Rally, which is traditionally organized every year in memory of the late Oğuz Özyalçın, a member of the Northern Cyprus Classic and Sports Car Club, took place on Sunday, October 9th with an intense participation.
The Oğuz Özyalçın Classic Car Rally, which is traditionally organized every year in memory of the late Oğuz Özyalçın, who was a member of the Northern Cyprus Classic and Sports Car Club, started at 09.30 yesterday in front of the Özyalçın Group of Companies Headquarters in Kyrenia. Hasan Taçoy, Mayor of Kyrenia Nidai Güngördü, Members of Parliament Aysegul Baybars, Jale Refik Rogers, Ahmet Savaşan, Hasan Kucuk and Serhat Akpinar’s flag raising.
In addition to the members of the Northern Cyprus Classic and Sports Automobile Club, prominent prominent names of social life, influential names of business and association life and Özyalçın Group of Companies personnel came together at the 8th Oğuz Özyalçın Classic Automobile Rally.
The route, which was determined as Yeşiltepe Petrol Station - Alsancak, Vounous - Çatalköy, Tarihi Çeşme - Karaağaç, Cam Teras - Tatlısu, ended at the finish point at Korineum Beach & Golf Resort.
A plaque of appreciation was presented by the Northern Cyprus Classic and Sports Automobile Club to Eser Özyalçın, the esteemed wife of the late Oğuz Özyalçın, and his daughters Yağmur Özyalçın and Yaprak Özyalçın. At the award ceremony held afterwards, plaques were presented to the participants by the Minister of Foreign Affairs. Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu presented by the President of the Republic of Turkey.
