A friendship group was established between the TRNC Republican Assembly and the parliaments of Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan.
At the Plenary Session of the Assembly of the Republic of Turkey, it was first voted and unanimously approved to establish friendship groups between the TRNC Republican Assembly and the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan, the Parliament of Turkmenistan, the Parliament of Uzbekistan, the Parliament of Kazakhstan, and the Parliament of Azerbaijan.
Accordingly, the friendship groups consisted of the following names:
Friendship group with the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan: Representing the UBP group Resmiye Eroğlu CANALTAY, Oguzhan Hasipoglu, Hasan Kucuk; representing the CTP group Filiz Besim, Erkut Sacarpet; representing the DP group Serhat Akpinar; representing the YDP group Talip Atalay
Friendship group with the Parliament of Turkmenistan: Representing the UBP group Resmiye Eroğlu CANALTAY, Ali Pilli, Ahmet Savaşan; representing the CTP group Filiz Besim, Erkut Şahali; representing the DP group Hasan Tosunoglu; representing the YDP group Talip Atalay.
Friendship group with the Parliament of Uzbekistan: Representing the UBP group Özdemir Berova, Kutlu Evren, Storm Carnation; representing the CTP group Filiz Besim, Erkut Şahali; representing the DP group Serhat Akpinar; representing the YDP group Talip Atalay.
