Ad-Hoc Committee on the regulation of legislation on natural disasters and earthquakes convened

The Ad-Hoc Committee on the Legislation on Natural Disasters and Earthquakes formed by the Assembly of the Republic of Turkey today UBP Deputy Chairman of the Committee Özdemir Berova chaired by the President at 10:30 a.m.

According to the press release issued by the Press Office of the Parliament, the Ad Hoc and Special (AD-HOC) Committee on the Regulation of Legislation on Natural Disasters and Earthquakes started the article-by-article voting of the “Law on Financial Assistance and Preparation for Earthquakes and Other Disasters, which was returned by the President for further consideration” at its meeting today. The Committee will continue its deliberations on the said law at its next meeting.

Officials from the Ministry of Finance and the Attorney General's Office attended the committee meeting as invitees and gave their views on the issue.
