At its meeting today, the Administrative, Public and Health Affairs Committee of the Assembly of Republic completed the third reading of the Draft Law on the Establishment of Atatürk Teachers Academy (Amendment) and unanimously approved it and referred it to the agenda of the General Assembly.
The Administrative, Public and Health Affairs Committee of the Assembly of the Republic convened today under the chairmanship of UBP MP Committee Chairman Emrah Yeşilırmak.
According to the statement made by the Parliament, the Committee convened at 09.30 today and discussed the ’Housing Acquisition (Amendment) Bill“, ”Central Bank of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Organization (Amendment) Bill“, ”Atatürk Teachers Academy Establishment (Amendment) Bill“ on its agenda.
The Committee first completed the third reading of the “Atatürk Teachers Academy Establishment (Amendment) Bill” and unanimously approved it and referred it to the agenda of the General Assembly.
CENTRAL BANK ORGANIZATION (AMENDMENT) DRAFT LAW
The Committee then completed the general discussion of the “Central Bank of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Organization (Amendment) Draft Law” and started to discuss it article by article. It was noted that the Committee will continue its work on the said draft law at its next meeting.
Officials from the Prime Ministry, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Finance, the Personnel Department, the Central Bank and KTAMS attended the committee meeting as invitees and presented their views on the issue.
HOUSING ACQUISITION (AMENDMENT) BILL
Finally, the Committee continued to discuss the “Housing Acquisition (Amendment) Bill” item by item. It was stated that the Committee will continue its work on the said draft law at its next meeting.
Officials from the Prime Ministry, the Deputy Prime Minister's Office, the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Interior, the Housing Development Unit, the Union of Cyprus Turkish Municipalities, the Union of Cyprus Turkish Chambers of Engineers and Architects and the Union of Cyprus Turkish Building Contractors attended the committee meeting and presented their views on the issue.
The Administrative, Public and Health Affairs Committee meeting, which convened under the chairmanship of UBP MP Emrah Yeşilırmak, was attended by Deputy Committee Chair Filiz Besim, Committee Member CTP MP Devrim Barçın, Committee Member UBP MP Ahmet Savaşan and Committee Member UBP MP Ziya Öztürkler.
