In his message published on the occasion of Women's Day, UBP MP Ahmet Savaşan said, “We renew our commitment to work together to overcome the challenges faced by women.”.
“On this day, we not only celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women, but also renew our commitment to make further progress towards gender equality, justice, peace and development,” said UBP MP Ahmet Savaşan, Chairperson of the World Health Tourism Council.
“On this International Women's Day, we renew our commitment to work together to overcome the challenges women face,” Savaşan said.
Pointing out that women are the cornerstone of societies, Savaşan continued as follows:
“They are a source of strength and inspiration, giving meaning to our lives as mothers, sisters, wives, friends and leaders. However, many women still struggle with violence, discrimination and inequality. Therefore, today is an opportunity not only to celebrate, but also to address the challenges we face as a society and reaffirm our commitment to make the changes needed to ensure that every woman can realize her full potential.”

Stating that they welcome the steps taken to remove the obstacles faced by women in the country and around the world, to promote gender equality and to ensure that women have equal rights in all areas, Savaşan said, “However, there is still more work to be done. We must continue to support greater representation of women in leadership positions, equal access to economic opportunities and a life free from all forms of violence and discrimination.”.
