UBP Nicosia District Women's Branches will organize an awareness walk against breast cancer tomorrow to draw attention to breast cancer. The march will be held on Saturday, October 28 at 10.00 am at Nicosia Sarayönü Square, UBP National Unity Party (UBP) Nicosia District Presidency Women's Branches are organizing an awareness march with the theme of ’Let's Stand Up to Cancer“ for breast cancer in cooperation with the Cancer Patients” Aid Association.
According to the statement made by the UBP Nicosia District Presidency; UBP MPs, ministers, President of the Cancer Patients Aid Association Raziye Kocaismail, members and representatives of the association, as well as other party members will participate in the march starting from Sarayönü (Dikilitaş) tomorrow at 10.00 with the participation of UBP President and Prime Minister Ünal Üstel's wife Zerrin Üstel.

Reminding that October is Breast Cancer Awareness and Awareness Month, UBP Nicosia District Chairman and MP Ahmet Savaşan stated that the Self-Check information application brochure prepared by experts will be distributed during the walk.
Stating that the aim of the walk is to draw attention to the importance of early diagnosis, Savaşan said that with the Self-Check application included in the brochures to be distributed, women living in Northern Cyprus will be given the opportunity to perform breast examinations with the right methods at home 24/7.
Savaşan called on citizens to help send the link to the self-check application to their families and loved ones.
