UBP MP Ahmet Savaşan, in his message published on the occasion of Headmen's Day, pointed out that the National Unity Party considers headmen and headship as fundamental and indispensable in the life of society.
National Unity Party (UBP) Group Deputy Chairman and Nicosia District Chairman Dr. Ahmet Savaşan, in his message published on his personal social media account on the occasion of ’19 October Headmen's Day’, emphasized that the National Unity Party, which has shouldered the administration of the state, considers the headmen and the headship as fundamental and indispensable in the life of the society.
Savaşan's message is as follows:
“Our mukhtars and mukhtars“ offices, which have a vital importance in terms of state administration, are the people and structures that our National Unity Party, which has adopted the understanding of ”the voice of the people is the voice of the right" and has shouldered the administration of the state by acting in cooperation with our mukhtars until now, considers fundamental and indispensable in our social life.
Underlining that we will not hesitate to show the necessary value to our mukhtars in terms of glorifying the TRNC and serving the Turkish Cypriot people and keeping the pulse of the Turkish Cypriot people, I would like to extend my sincere love and respect to all our mukhtars on “Mukhtars Day”.”
