President of the World Health Tourism Council, UBP MP Dr. Ahmet Savaşan emphasized that human rights violations have increased thanks to brutal wars and unequal development. “Respect for human rights is the basis of living together,” Savaşan said.
President of the World Health Tourism Council (GHTC), National Unity Party (UBP) MP Dr. Ahmet Savaşan, He pointed out that the “human rights approach” could be the most powerful approach to bring people together under a single global roof and that increased respect for human rights would increase the possibility for people with different cultures to live together.
On December 10, Human Rights Day, the President of the World Health Tourism Council (GHTC), UBP MP Dr. Ahmet Savaşan, “The events that are taking place today, which are basically human rights violations, are fueling hostility between people, increasing xenophobia and racism, and reducing the possibility for people of different cultures to live together. This has the potential to make our world an uninhabitable place and this is the main enemy that must be fought.”.
“THE MASSACRE IN GAZA MUST STOP IMMEDIATELY”
Stating that what is happening in Gaza is the most blatant and brutal “human rights violations” in recent years, Dr. Savaşan said: “There are not two armies at war. Even if there were, the war would be fought according to certain rules. There is an army, equipped with all kinds of war apparatus, burning down a region where 2 million people live, killing every living creature it encounters, not to mention children and women. There can be no greater violation of human rights. While these events are taking place, unfortunately, the leading states of the world show reluctance to stop this war. Such brutal human rights violations, such wars, which are a black stain on history, will cause wounds that will not be healed for many years and will make it difficult for people to live together in the future. This brutal massacre must be stopped immediately.”.
“INEQUALITY IS THE BIGGEST PROBLEM”
Pointing out that the world's population is increasing, Dr. Dr. Ahmet Savaşan, “While bloody wars are taking place on the one hand, on the other, we are witnessing that the growing population is not provided with enough nutrition, shelter and development opportunities. In some parts of the world, poverty leads to situations worse than war. Deep poverty must be recognized as a violation of human rights and poverty must be fought,” he said, emphasizing that the consequences of inequality weaken people's ability to live together and fuel racism and xenophobia, which in turn lead to bloody wars.
“THE REAL VIOLATIONS ARE THE INEQUALITIES EXPERIENCED BY BILLIONS OF PEOPLE!”
In his message, he said, “While we remember the human rights violations in various countries on December 10, International Human Rights Day, we should not ignore the mass injustices in our world. In reality, the real violations are the injustices and inequalities experienced by billions of people.”. Ahmet Savaşan, He stated that the governments of developed countries should take responsibility to eliminate these negativities and allocate resources for balanced development.
