Emphasizing that they will continue to work, Savaşan stated that he embraced his party's candidates and working party members. Savaşan said, “Whatever we did, we did it for our people to live more prosperous and free. We will continue to do it from now on.”.

“Keep working: The Turkish Cypriot people have left behind another very good test of democracy. This is what it means to be a people and to build a state. I congratulate all TRNC citizens who participated in this election both as candidates and as supporters of candidates and who worked hard.
I believe that we, as National Unity Party members, did justice to the election and carried out a successful campaign despite the responsibilities we assumed as the major partner in the government. I embrace and congratulate our fellow candidates who represented us with devotion and our party members who worked like bees.
