The Administrative, Public and Health Affairs Committee of the Assembly of the Republic convened today and discussed the “Cyprus Turkish Pharmacists Association (Amendment) Bill” and the “Competition (Amendment) Bill".
Administrative, Public and Health Affairs Committee, today at 11.00 a.m., UBP MP Committee Chairman Özdemir Berova chaired by the President.
According to the information given by the Assembly of the Republic, CTP Deputy Chairman of the Committee Filiz Besim, Committee members UBP MP Ahmet Savaşan, CTP MP Devrim Barçın and UBP MP Emrah Yesilirmak, CTP MPs Erkut Şahali, Ceyhun Birinci and Independent MP Jale Refik Rogers attended.
The Committee first completed the item-by-item discussion of the “Cyprus Turkish Pharmacists Association (Amendment) Draft Law” on its agenda.
The Committee will continue its work on the draft law at its next meeting.
Officials from the Department of Medicines and Pharmacy also attended the committee meeting as invited guests and gave their views on the issue.
The Administrative, Public and Health Affairs Committee then held a general discussion on the “Competition (Amendment) Bill”.
The Committee will continue its work on the bill at its next meeting.
Officials from the Ministry of Economy and Energy, the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Craftsmen and Artisans, the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Commerce and the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Industry attended the committee meeting and expressed their views.
