UBP MP Ahmet Savaşan criticized Oktay Saral's insulting statements about Prime Minister Ünal Üstel and called on Saral to act with a sense of responsibility. Savaşan emphasized that such statements would strengthen the unity and solidarity of the Turkish Cypriot people.
National Unity Party (UBP) MP Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Savaşan, Oktay Saral, Senior Advisor to the President of the Republic of Turkey Unal Üstel criticized his insulting post about him.
Describing Saral's statements as misleading and irresponsible, Savaşan stated that they will further strengthen the unity and solidarity of the Turkish Cypriot people.

“We will not remain silent against misleading posts!
Reflecting Oktay Saral's individual views and posts as if they were the official stance of the Republic of Turkey is both misleading and a big mistake! It is unacceptable for some people in Turkey to try to gain a premium by intervening in issues they do not know without being informed.
I deplore Saral's baseless statements and invite him to act with a sense of responsibility. It should not be forgotten that such approaches will reinforce the unity and solidarity of the Turkish Cypriot People in the future as they have done before.”
