UBP MP Ahmet Savaşan, described the organization of TEKNOFEST in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus as a “historic day”.
Stating that they visited TEKNOFEST together with the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz and the accompanying delegation, Savaşan said that they once again demonstrated their belief in science and technology with this event.
Stating that TEKNOFEST, the world's largest technology festival, was realized with great interest and enthusiasm despite all kinds of boycotts and blocking attempts, Savaşan noted that more than 220 thousand people - children, youth, women, men - visited the festival area.
President, who made initiatives for TEKNOFEST to be held in TRNC Ersin Tatar’and the Prime Minister who supported the process.
